Case Management vs. Support Coordination; What's the difference?

It's one of the most common questions we get: 'Do I need a case manager or a support coordinator?'

Support Coordination is an NDIS-funded role. It sits inside your NDIS plan and is dedicated to helping you understand and use that plan to meet disability-related goals.

Case Management is broader. It often spans health, housing, legal, justice and community systems. A case manager might coordinate your NDIS supports too, but they're also dealing with your housing application, your hospital discharge, your court appointments and your Centrelink. It's the role we step into when life is happening across multiple systems at once.
